Nike continues to pay homage to Cristiano Ronaldo. The brand at Swoosh will release a new Air Max 97 CR7 inspired by the colors of Portugal.
It‘s a great love story that ties Cristiano Ronaldo to Nike. While we introduced you a few weeks ago, the Nike Air Max 97 CR7 Golden Patchwork, the brand at Swoosh and CR7 are preparing to release a new AM97. This new iteration of the sneaker which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2017 is inspired by the colours of Portugal and its seleção. Dressed in red with touches of green and yellow at the laces, this Nike air Max 97 CR7 unveiled only a few days after the stock failure of the Air Force 1 CR7. And the least we can say is that this new pair has everything to please.
Like all budding schoolchildren and footballers, Cristiano Ronaldo had two pairs of shoes when he was very small. The first was made to go to class and had to be always nickel. The second was used to play football for hours. And like every young person who respects himself, CR7 used to go home with holes in his shoes. Fortunately for him, his mother did not hesitate to reseal these holes with patches so that he can go back to training as soon as possible. Nike wanted to pay homage to this story with this new version of the iconic Air Max 97. For the time being, we do not know yet the release date of this Nike Air Max 97 “CR7” Portugal but, it should be soon.
